NAME. KIYOSE YUNO
NICKNAMES. N/A
ORIENTATION. PANROMANTIC
OCCUPATION. STUDENT (MORNING)
DATE OF BIRTH. MAY 05, 2005
PLACE OF BIRTH. MANILA, PH
NATIONALITY. JAPANESE
OTHER. CHEF APPRENTICE
ABOUT HIM.Yuno had always liked to say he was born between worlds. He first opened his eyes and gave his first ever sweetest smile in the restless heart of Manila, but most of his memories were shaped under the bluest skies of Kanagawa Prefecture, where the sea breeze and fluffy clouds sailed together in peace and harmony. Between those two places and the two women who raised him, Yuno understood that culture, identity, and how you work on them was never just one thing. His mother, who was a Filipina but naturalized and acquired citizenship in Japan, was fire in human form. She was daring, sharp-tongued when needed, and fiercely protective of them. A woman who, without an inch of doubt, could rule and occupy a crowd without even raising her voice. His other mother, Japanese by birth and by habit, was her perfect opposite. She was soft-spoken Yuno thinks he had never heard her shout or curse. She was always composed but so brilliant it often left people a step behind in conversation. Where one taught him how to stand his ground, the other taught him how to think three steps ahead.Growing up between them meant growing up between storms and still waters, and Yuno learned to navigate both.If you asked him, he would probably shrug and tell you that there was not an attitude in the world he could not handle. He would say it as if it were just a simple fact, not a skill honed over years of watching keenly, listening intently, and adjusting to different surroundings, particularly whenever he was visiting the Philippines. Survival, after all, did not always mean fighting. Sometimes, it meant knowing when to blend in, when to speak up, and when to let silence do the work.It helped a lot that he was raised in a home where differences were not just accepted. Love, in his household, had never been conditional or rigid. It was fluid, understanding, and expansive, and the way the young male engaged with the world shows just how good he was raised by his parents.ABOUT HIS PASSION.He had never been one to sit still. Even as a kid, Yuno's thoughts leapt from one impossible idea to the next. One week, he was certain he would become a Pokémon trainer and discover creatures no one else had ever seen and defeat other trainers who would go against him being the next champion. The next, he was convinced he could be the world's greatest carnival showman, enticing crowds with tricks so spectacular people might faint from wonder. Neither dream lasted more than a season before reality, as usual, stepped in and laughed. So he tried something new: swimming. He was fast, unstoppable, and remembered by everyone at every pool meet. Finally, something that was achievable for someone his age. He was great at it and was admired by people. He pictured himself cutting through water, hearing the cheers of a crowd that had never seen anyone move so perfectly. But then, in an instant, life remembered to assert itself. He was introduced to impingement syndrome, and just like that, swimming was off the table. For years. He will not lie; he spent a few days hating everything. The water, the pool, the very concept of lungs that could no longer scream in triumph. But Yuno was nothing if not adaptable. Misery, he decided, was boring. And boring was not something he did well. So he looked elsewhere. Books suddenly became his escape, conversations with anyone who would humour him his new playground, and the everyday world, mundane, yes, but alive with small wonders. Then came the Japanese cooking show his mum was watching one fine afternoon. Grainy graphics, bright lights, frantic chopping, ingredients flying. And his stomach roared instantly in approval. Watching chefs turn raw ingredients into something beautiful, something edible and perfect, something that could make people stop and smile... It hit him.By morning, he was back at school, shuffling through lectures, notebooks, and the occasional doodle of absurd inventions he still liked to imagine. By noon, he was in a cramped little kitchen at a neighbourhood restaurant, learning the language of knives, the hiss of pans, and the smell of simmering sauces.
YUNO'S BIG THREE:
SUN. TAURUS MOON. ARIES
RISING. LIBRA
COMMON STEREOTYPES- “Looks peaceful, but will absolutely snap if pushed.”
- Romantic and aesthetic-loving, but also a little dramatic emotionally
- Loyal once committed, yet impatient when things don’t go their way
- Can be both the mediator and the instigator depending on the moodBased on the star alignments, he would easily come off charming, balanced, and effortlessly likeable at first glance (Libra rising), but underneath that polished exterior is a mix of stubborn calm and impulsive fire. His Taurus sun craves stability, comfort, and loyalty, while his Aries moon reacts fast, has a quick temper, has quick passion, and is quick to move on.
